I was 21 years old and totally disillusioned. I had tried to fill my life with all the entertainments of an ambitious young man, but it wasn't working. The girl I thought was the love of my life broke up with me. It was becoming obvious that my party lifestyle could not go on forever.
John was reared by Christian parents who were very active in their local church, but for some reason, he never accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord.
With my education and my military active duty commitment completed, I launched my business career and started my family in 1966. My life was committed to my business and hobbies. By world’s standards I was a success.
I was born in Dallas, Texas in 1986 into a dysfunctional family. My father was abusive toward my mom and shortly after my birth, they got a divorce. By age two, I had bounced between homes and had been physically abused until finally being placed in the custody of my grandparents.
