Colossians 3:1 - 3 (NKJV)
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
 
1 John 2:1 & 2 (NKJV)
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
 
3 John 2 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
 
Every day we are bombarded with worldly thoughts that life gets better with ______; and all of us can fill in the blank, a new house, new furniture, a new car, new golf clubs, new clothes, drugs both prescription and non, etc; but the truth is simple, life gets better with Jesus, His words and His thoughts.
 
Abba Father may we every day be filled with Your thoughts and Your words and may we daily be guided by Your truth; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
